Karan Sethi

Karan Sethi is a licensed paralegal practising in Criminal Code summary conviction and Provincial Offences Act matters, and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. He is the founder of Sethi Legal Services and a graduate of the Paralegal – Court and Tribunal Agent program at Centennial College. He also holds a Diploma in Community Justice and Services from Centennial College, which laid the foundation for his practical understanding of the justice system and client-focused advocacy.

Karan has professional experience working in both open and closed custody settings, providing him with firsthand insight into sentencing principles, custodial parameters, and rehabilitative and reintegration measures. This background allows him to understand the consequences better and the long-term implications of legal outcomes, particularly in Provincial Offences Act (POA) matters and summary conviction criminal matters within paralegal scope.

In addition to his legal background, Karan brings over 10 years of business experience as a former franchise owner. This experience informs his legal practice through a strong emphasis on organization, strategic planning, clear communication, and efficient file management. He understands the importance of accountability, professionalism, and delivering practical, results-driven representation for clients.

Karan is also a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a discipline that reflects his approach to legal advocacy—focused preparation, strategic thinking, and composure under pressure. These principles guide his practice and reinforce his commitment to disciplined, thoughtful representation.

Alongside operating his own practice, Karan currently provides counsel support services in criminal defence matters, assisting with case preparation, procedural support, and legal research. This ongoing involvement ensures he remains closely connected to courtroom practice and evolving defence strategies.
